Children: Growing up Hoosier in the Heartland

While the Midwest town of Lebanon, Indiana possesses an undeniable charm for the Hoosiers who live there, children in Lebanon must make do with the usual small-town activities to find fun in town. Suburban life in Lebanon is by no means dull, however. The area is rife with country clubs, parks and golf courses and the usual pursuits of happiness for kids, such as cinemas and so on.

Nevertheless, some nice Central Indiana cities surround Lebanon. Several are only a few miles away, and each town offers a number of interesting things to lure and amuse kids . These kid-friendly neighbors would include Carmel, Westfield, Crawfordsville, Noblesville and Speedway, with a host of other smaller hamlets in between. Big city Indianapolis, with all its many attractions, is less than a half hour from Lebanon, too.

Some cool area attractions for Lebanon children include a trip to the Laser Flash facility in Carmel and getting involved in the Roundtripper Baseball Academy, the Indiana Soccer Academy or Cheer World of Indiana in next-door Westfield, Indiana.
